Created Equal

Although the text originates from the American Declaration of Independence, written in 1776, I've often felt an appeal in the strength of some of the language used in it, the section stating how all men are created equal, and that the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness don't just embody the idea of the American dream and spirit, but in a more global aspect, they can represent an idea that any and all humans, and any and all countries should be striving for, though they don't often do.

Even many Americans seem to forget the spirit of these passages in the pursuit of their own version of the American dream and spirit.

So it's our responsibility to remind those who forget of the spirit and meaning of those passages, if we are to live a happier life, a freer life, a life with less or no prejudice, then we have to do our best to educate and help those around us.
