UK Pride

A short time prior to coming up with the concept behind the "Proud" design, I took a look into the United Kingdom arm of the pride movement, and felt rather disappointed.

Unlike the Spanish, Canadian, American and one varient of the Australian flag, I found the varient of the Union Jack to be rather uninspired. As someone who isn't a huge fan of pink, I wanted to try tie it in with the other flags I'd mentioned earlier in this description, and after a bit of testing, this was the final result I came up with.

As I did my digging I came across a few varients on DeviantArt, but those appeared to retain two of the colours, whereas this concept retains one, but darkens the segments of Gilbert Baker's rainbow flag that would be blue in the normal rendition of the flag, in order to provide a bit of tonal variety.
