Proud - The Stonewall Inn (Updated)

The revised concept for the Stonewall Inn design ([link]), featuring a more detailed, superior graphic of the bar, as well as the actual establishment logo.

My one regret from this new design is dropping the "N.Y.C." from the text, however it felt cumberson when attached to the revised logo, so I excised it for a neater design.


Reading the history of Berkeley's White Horse Tavern, I ended up reading up about how some portions of today's gay/lesbian community apparantly had little to no interest in how the original rights movements had sprung up and developed...

I also read up about the Stonewall Inn in New York, which was the first gay establishment to stand up against the raids by the police which were sadly a once-common occurrance for the LGBT communities - the subsequent riots following the raid not only helped lead to the gay rights movement, but the commemoration of the riots eventually became what we now see as the pride parades.
